We have never met someone like Dr Kip. This man cares so much about animals and his level of caring, understanding and compassion goes far beyond anything we expected. We had to take our young cat, Winnie, to YNWA because she had a tumor in her back leg. Dr. Kip gave us all of our options and we chose amputation as our cat's best chance for survival. He kept us aware of everything going on in a very human and plain spoken way, and treated our cat as his own. When she needed follow up surgery, Dr. Kip was there to help again, and assisted us with her recovery. Unfortunately, we had to have Dr Kip put Winnie to sleep a few months, and amazingly, he came to our house so that we could all be with her for the end. We had Winnie cremated and Dr Kip brought her the ashes and her paw print to our home. The level of care at YNWA is unmatched, and we trust the practice, and especially Dr. Kip, with the lives of of all of our pets. We truly felt the love and compassion for our Winnie and for our family. We got several more good months to love our cat because of the care she received at YNWA. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!

In my experience in pet ownership Kip has to be the most caring human ever like your pet is his pet . I’d never use another vet .

First time here for my 14 yr old male cat who has stomach/ gastrointestinal issues..after paying over 500.00 dollars for the initial visit including $60 for a 30 day supply of Rx strength Probiotics...nothing changed with his vomiting & diarrhea issues ...next step was an ultrasound which entails you dropping off your pet at 9:00 am due to it being a Mobile Ultrasound Unit that comes there Wed & Fri for the procedure and no way of giving appt. times. Told I'd be called when the procedure was done to pick my cat up...I did not receive a phone call, but a brief Text that the procedure was done & I could come get him. I saw the text an hour later at 3:00 pm...no phone call. NO PHONE CALL...my cat did NOT need to stay there without food or water for an extra hour because your too Lazy to make a phone call!! I'm Gen X, my phone is NOT attached to my ear. Make a phone call as you said you would... that I can hear & answer promptly! Bad enough my ill elderly cat is a major source of anxiety but can't count on you to be thoughtful about his time line of nothing to eat or drink past midnight day before...yes I was told my cat wasn't even offered water after the procedure as I asked.

I came to Kip at You’ll Never Walk Alone through a mutual friend when I was in desperate need of help. My dog had suddenly become extremely sick, and I had been told he likely only had 1–2 days to live without ever really getting a clear diagnosis. After speaking with several vets and spending more than $25,000 trying to figure out what was happening and save my dog, going to Kip was honestly refreshing. He was the first person throughout the entire process who made me feel like he truly cared about what both my dog and I were going through. He treated me with so much compassion, took the time to explain things, and did everything he could to try to help him. When I ultimately made the decision that it was time to say goodbye, Kip went completely out of his way for us. He offered to personally come to my home so my dog could be comfortable and surrounded by the people who loved him. He absolutely did not have to do that, and I will never forget the kindness he showed me on one of the worst days of my life. His staff was also incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional throughout the entire experience. They made not only me feel comfortable and cared for, but most importantly, they made my dog feel safe and comfortable during his final few days and Kip in his final hour. That meant more to me than I can really put into words. Kip is an incredibly caring person and veterinarian, and he and his team made an unbearable experience feel as peaceful and compassionate as it possibly could have been. My family will absolutely be bringing our pets to You’ll Never Walk Alone moving forward. I’m so grateful I was connected with him when I needed someone most.

We recently moved to the area and attempted to switch our pets care to this vet. My dogs first visit was just a routine examination. Very run of the mill and everyone was fairly nice. Since then my dog has gotten sick twice. I’ve called to get him in and they don’t have appointments for 1-2 weeks out. I asked if this typical and the receptionist confirmed it is. So my dog is supposed to go to the emergency room everytime she has an ear infection or small illness? I’ve had dogs all my life and this is unheard of.
