Harbor View Veterinary Hospital

I’ve been coming to HarborView for years (I’ve changed my Google name for privacy). Their staff has always been amazing with my anxious pet, Leah and Dr. Snow especially. I have nothing but good things to say, except for the new receptionist they recently hired. When I walked up to the desk exactly on time, he was on the clinic phone and so I patiently waited. After he hung up, I said I was here with *pet name* and he said “k take a seat.” Alright. So I sat down and watched three other visitors come in that he took care of first and talked with them for quite awhile about his partner’s surgery and his love life. Alright… About 15 minutes later, he finally called up to the vet to tell them I was here, except he said, “the next one’s here.” As if my pet’s name wasn’t right in front of him on the screen. I found the whole interaction to be disrespectful and him to be very unprofessional in the way he spoke to me and other visitors. He used a ton of Gen-Z slang and talked about his personal life and love life constantly. While I sat there with my anxious pet, just for him/her to be referred to as “the next one.”

Amazing vet!! We love Dr. Snow!! Extremely accommodating to our large Akita who is anxious with other dogs and scared of stairs and elevators! We will miss Harbor View!!

My dog and family want to share our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Snow and every nurse and vet tech at this clinic who has cared for our dog this past year. We found this clinic last December when our dog wasn't acting like herself, and we're so grateful fate led us here. From figuring out that her symptoms were caused by back pain, to keeping her vaccines updated, to even routine anal gland expressions, this team consistently goes above and beyond. Our dog normally hates elevators — but the fact that she willingly walked into one after gentle encouragement from staff says everything about how well she's treated here. We're also grateful for how thoughtful and mindful everyone is about her anxiety around other dogs and pets. They let us stay in the car until the lobby is clear and a room is ready for our dog. Special thanks to Damika in particular, who always follows up on questions the same day or next day with clear, helpful information — she's consistently kind and responsive. We also deeply appreciate the transparency with pricing at every visit; we've never felt overcharged or upsold. They are NOT like other vets who try to sell you products!!!!! Even if they recommend something, everything is reasonably priced or they actually give cheaper alternatives (they offered to give us a written prescription to be able to get the meds cheaper at Costco). For contrast: we recently needed a health certificate for travel and went to a clinic down the road that Harbor View recommended to us, since that vet was USDA certified. When we had to push our flight back, they charged us again just to reprint the same paperwork with a new date, never gave us an itemized receipt, and didn't come close to the warmth and accommodation we're used to at Harbor View. It only reinforced how much we appreciate this clinic. We are so happy to have found this clinic. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby — we wish nothing but the best for this clinic and team!

I went here for my cats first check up and shots, and the whole team was amazing! The receptionist and nurse that attended us were very kind. Dr. Snow was amazing, my cat is usually very cautious and nervous around new people, but Dr. Snow was very patient and helped her stay calm and relaxed throughout the entire appointment. I will definitely come in the future and recommend coming for great treatment.

The staff at Harbor View always take great care of my beloved Bella.
