This staff is confusing. On the phone I had a person INSIST I come in but when I got there no one was at the desk, and then when I finally got someone they told me to go home and visit the vet in the morning. Nasty attitude for someone who has a career with animals. I understand she was just trying to save both of us the time and money but whoever was on the phone had me rush me in the middle of the night just to be scoffed at.

I said goodbye to my cat today. It’s never easy. The kindness of the staff and the veterinarian were all that I could have hoped for. Thank you.

My cat had an ear hematoma that was causing him significant discomfort and he was able to be seen late in the evening on 9/16/26. The facility and location are easy to find and the wait was reasonable for being the only 24 hour urgent care aside from Pet ER. I found them to be fairly priced for my cat's bloodwork, ear cytology, and medications on an urgent basis (ear cleaner, ear drops, oral steroids). The veterinarian that evening was very nice and she informed me that gabapentin could be prescribed if my cat's discomfort wasn't going away with just the oral steroids or ear drops we left with that night, all I would have to do would be to call back for them. Unfortunately, that was the case, and I contacted the hospital during their regular daytime hours and left a message with their receptionist requesting that gabapentin on 9/22/26 around 10:30am, followed up on the request around 2:30pm that same day and was told the request hadn't been viewed by the veterinarian and that I would be contacted when that medication was approved and available for pickup at the hospital. It is now 9/25/26 and I haven't heard anything from them. Thankfully, a family friend had leftover gabapentin from her cat rescue that had been prescribed to much smaller cat and was able to give me the leftover meds to make my cat more comfortable, but this whole situation with the other vet ignoring a request to help a cat in pain for a medication that one of their own colleagues had informed me would be available without issue at request has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
